taycan Sport Sedan

Sport Sedan

The four-door Taycan Sport Sedan was the first body variant. With its purist design, this Taycan signaled the beginning of a new era. From the front, the electric sports car appears particularly wide and flat, with strongly curved fenders. The silhouette is defined by the sporty roofline that slopes down towards the rear. The side section with its strong sculpting is also characteristic. The slim cabin, a strongly retracted C-pillar and the pronounced shoulders of the rear fenders result in an emphasis at the rear that is typical of the brand.

Sport Turismo

The Taycan Sport Turismo has all the strengths of the Taycan Sport Sedan, such as superior performance and a long range. The sporty and elegant silhouette with its sloping roofline increases everyday usability by providing more headroom for rear passengers and a maximum cargo volume of over 1,200 liters behind the large tailgate.

Cross Turismo

The Taycan Cross Turismo shares the sporty silhouette with the Taycan Sport Turismo with its sloping roofline and functional format. All-wheel drive is standard. The off-road design elements include independent lower sections at the front and rear, wheel arch trims as well as the side skirts. In combination with the off-road design package, the Cross Turismo has special flaps at the corners of the front and rear bumpers and at the ends of the sills. These provide a striking appearance and also protect against stone chipping.

Model designations

Iconic model designation for 4

The "4" in the model designation indicates all-wheel drive models, which are also offered with rear-wheel drive.

Iconic model designation for S

At Porsche, S stands for “Sport”: a more powerful version which, in addition to the extra sporty engine, also includes improvements in equipment compared to the basic model.

Iconic model designation for GTS

At Porsche, the abbreviation GTS stands for "Grand Touring Sport," distinctive design elements, and a sporty standard specification. High-performance engines and chassis systems consistently designed for performance offer that extra dose of sportiness while maintaining strong everyday usability and long-distance comfort.

Iconic model designation for turbo

The Turbo is the top model, the limit of what is possible, a technological pioneer. Today, at Porsche, Turbo no longer refers to a technology, but instead marks the most powerful variants. The all-electric flagship models of the Taycan, Macan and Cayenne show that the model designation is no longer tied to the use of turbochargers.

Iconic model designation for GT

GT stands for "Grand Touring" and, in the extremely sporty GT models, refers to the GT classes in motorsport. Built for motorsport, approved for the road. Today, at Porsche, GT not only stands for motorsport, but also designates the sportiest flagship models of the Cayenne and the Taycan.
